Redwood Cellars can be found in the picturesque Redwood Valley between Nelson and Motueka, in the heart of New Zealand's premier fruit and berry growing region.
Originally known as Noslen Wines ("Nelson" spelt in reverse), the Winery has been producing innovative fruit wines, ciders, mulled wines and cream liqueurs for over 50 years.

In 2006, Justin Hall, Scott Chapman and Chairman Tony Marks purchased Redwood Cellars under the holding company Raripo New Zealand, Limited.
Raripo New Zealand Ltd. now oversees the award-winning beverages of Redwood Cellars, the natural health drinks of the Good Health Organisation (www.gho.co.nz), and Redwood Animal Health (www.rah.co.nz).
With corporate backgrounds spanning from Tauranga to Tokyo, Kobe to Caracas, Justin, Scott and Tony bring a new level of business experience and professionalism — mixed with some funky Kiwi entrepreneurial spirit — to the Redwood Cellars business.

SCOTT CHAPMAN
Director
scott@redwoodcellars.co.nz |
Scott is a native South Islander who grew up on a 2000 hectare sheep and cattle farm in the Waitaki Valley. After completing his business degree at the University of Otago, Scott spent the next 13 years cultivating a career in Asia, based in Japan. Fluent in Japanese, Scott held senior management positions in Zespri Japan, Exel Japan and Heinz Watties Japan. For all his love of foreign multi-cultural adventure, his return to New Zealand was long overdue and a Directorship at Redwood Cellars, with primary responsibility for Sales and Marketing, the perfect challenge. Scott is particularly looking forward to bringing his expatriate experience into Redwood Cellars and instilling global "best practices" into a local company. |
